Superpower: Creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters connection and positive change
You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted by issues such as lack of boundaries, illness, trauma, or repeating self-destructive patterns. Many clients come to therapy to regain control, clarify their values, build resilience, and feel more connected to themselves and others.I offer a personalized and direct approach that centers you in your own healing. Drawing from modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, we will work to align your thoughts and actions with your values so that you can lead the life you want.
Together, we will identify patterns of response that hold you back, manage emotions, and achieve your goals. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, often incorporating warmth and humor to create a safe space for exploration and growth.
I’m a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with specialized training in trauma therapy (EMDR) and experience working as a bereavement counselor. I have extensive experience supporting individuals through grief, loss, and life transitions, including work with the pediatric oncology population in a hospital setting. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I focus on making therapy a safe and supportive space for growth and connection.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, and have experience treating anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, attachment issues, self-esteem, identity development, medical diagnoses, and trauma. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are navigating self-identity, addressing issues of shame and vulnerability, transitioning their professional lives, and incorporating creativity and play into the healing process.
