Grieving the loss of a loved one is a challenging and emotional experience. It can feel like no one understands you or like the grief will never end. At this vulnerable time in one’s life, having support from a professional and peers can make all the difference.
The Grief Support Group at Juno Counseling and Wellness aims to provide emotional support, comfort, and community to those navigating the loss of a loved one.
Participants are invited to connect and share about their experiences of mourning, pain, coping, and overwhelming emotions that accompany grief.
Whether you have lost a loved one recently or have been grieving for many years, our group offers a nurturing, supportive space to process your experiences, learn additional coping strategies, and connect with others who are also navigating life while grieving.
What to Expect:
- Weekly Meetings: Regular 90-minute gatherings where members can discuss their feelings and experiences in a confidential and non-judgmental setting.
- Peer Support: Opportunities to connect with others who have experienced similar losses, facilitating mutual understanding and support.
- Professional Guidance: Sessions led by an experienced mental health professional who provides insights, coping strategies, and therapeutic exercises.
Who Can Join: Our Grief Support Group welcomes adults of all ages and backgrounds who have lost a loved one (human, not a pet) and are experiencing grief. A brief screening and introductory call is required prior to attendance
Cost: $60 / session. There is no minimum number of sessions, but we recommend attending at least 3 sessions.
